The Promise Program

The Promise Program is a cohort-based para-educational outreach initiative designed to support high school students facing educational, social, or economic disadvantages. Our goal is to empower them to succeed academically, grow in leadership, and develop strong character, preparing them for a brighter future.

Who Can Apply

Eligible Promise scholars must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Live in a low-income household

  • Will be the first in their family to attend college (neither parent have a bachelor’s degree)

  • Have experienced the loss of one or both parents

  • Have a documented disability without cognitive impairment

  • Fostered by a relative or the system.

Program Overview

The Promise Program provides a comprehensive ecosystem for success to support 40 high school students annually, blending academic excellence with spiritual growth and life skill development through dedicated tracks.

Summer Intensive Bootcamp

This two-week summer bootcamp prepares students academically in math, English, and science. 

Academic Year Support

During the academic year, the program supports students by providing four hours of weekly tutoring, ongoing individual and group counseling, and access to a food and school supplies pantry.

Leadership, Spiritual and Character Development

Saturdays for Success workshops ans sessions on financial literacy, public speaking, leadership,  character and spiritual development equipping scholars with practical tools for personal and professional success.

GPA Requirement

Scholars must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Regular academic progress reports ensure students remain focused on their academic performance.

Maintaining Excellence

SCHOLAR STANDARDS
Attendance

Consistent participation is vital. Scholars are expected to attend at least 85% of tutoring sessions, workshops, and program mentorship events.

Christian Character

Scholarship is more than grades. We value integrity, leadership, and a commitment to spiritual growth, good character and citizenship in school an the community.
